Andréa's career started with a BaHons 1.1 in Media & Production Design from the London College of Printing, following which she worked on a contract basis for Clients around the world, including TV, financial institutions, government agencies and many high profile media agencies.

After another award-winning spell creating exhibitions for major pharmaceutical clients, Andréa founded aufbau design.

She has been involved with all aspects of user experience since the early 1990s, and has become a specialist in information architecture and mapping user interaction.

She works across platforms, and is most at home when faced with an incomprehensibly complex task where her ability to organise and manage ambiguous or large workloads comes to the forefront. Nothing phases Andrea.

Michael's background is in information technology and design. As architect and project manager on large software developments for blue-chip clients, he has successfully directed & delivered many software and web-based applications.

His expertise lies in web analytics, CRM, communications, systems delivery, strategy and winning new business. He has worked for a diverse range of companies, including financial institutions, a car manufacturer, a telecoms company and airlines.

He first worked with Andréa at McDonnell Douglas, and a few years later he joined her in creating aufbau design.

Michael ensures that aufbau continues to deliver beautifully designed solutions that are based on the latest technologies.
